How can I join ESMA?
We welcome all baccalaureate holders. Your motivation and interest in art are the only prerequisites for admission to ESMA, if you are enrolling for a preparatory year to bring you up to standard. On the other hand, direct access to training requires a level of training already acquired post BAC, a mastery of drawing or of the field in which the student wishes to continue his or her training.

When can I join ESMA?
Open daysApplications for 2025-2026 open on 1 September 2024. For students in their final year of secondary school, it is possible to begin the application process without the year’s school reports and to send them to us at a later date.

What if it was time?
Your application will be subject to assessment of your academic record and an artistic portfolio according to your profile, followed by a motivational interview (and an entrance test for Year 1).
