Rémy Terreaux is one of the people who knows most intimately Shrek and his friends.
Recruited by DreamWorks in 2009, this former ESMA student has worked for several months as a character animator on ” Shrek 4″ in Glendale, near Los Angeles.
The sequel to the adventures of the green ogre was then moved tothe DreamWorks and Technicolor studios, in Bangalore (India). There, Rémy got involved in the animation of “Scared Shrekless” and “Puss in Boots”, nominated in 2012 for an Academy Award, in the “Best Animated Features” category.
Expert in animation and matte-painting, Rémy has co-directed in 2008 “My Friend Charly”.
This end-of-studies short film, produced by ESMA, has got several rewards: the “Grand Prix” at La Nuit du Court-Métrage Festival, Arte Audience Prize, the Audience Special Prize at Mundos Digitales, and the Monkey King at CICAF in China.
