The computer graphics designer creates all types of media, for print or web use, in accordance with the graphic charter and the universe of the brand for which he works.

THE ROLE OF THE COMPUTER GRAPHICS DESIGNER

Often working as an independent, he can also be integrated within a company, a communication or an advertising agency.

SKILLS AND QUALITIES

He juggles images, animated or not, videos and texts, which he assembles with consistency on the media entrusted to him (flyer, magazine, newsletter, website…).
Artist above all, he is able to manipulate the pencil as well as the DTP software, which are his everyday tools (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop…).

In his work, the computer graphics designer must take into consideration the target audience, in order to propose a medium he will be sensitive to. The form of the message will vary depending on whether it is aimed at children, people in their 40s or young retirees, for example.
This is also why he must be curious, but also attentive to the ordering person, whether it is the artistic director or the client directly.

A constant communication with the latter allows him to adjust his work, refine the details, in order to propose a final version in keeping with the defined needs.

A WORK OF COOPERATION

He also intervenes after the designing phase, particularly with printers, making sure the project is properly understood and implemented.
