A first for the Corum and for Montpellier

The roof of the Corum, located in the heart of Montpellier, will come alive this summer with a variety of activities and entertainment to suit all tastes. This vast rooftop, the largest in the region, will offer visitors a brand new summer experience, linked to the recent embellishment work on the Esplanade des Arts et de la Culture Charles-De-Gaulle. The initiative is part of a drive to reinvigorate and reinvent the city’s urban spaces, making them accessible and vibrant.

On the programme: outdoor games for those looking to relax with family and friends, dance sessions for those with a passion for movement, art exhibitions for the curious, DJ sets for music lovers, a variety of activities for children and adults, film screenings for movie buffs, and gastronomic experiments and cocktails for gourmets. This exceptional meeting place promises to be a major attraction over the three months of the summer.

ESMA: patron of the event

ESMA is honoured to be a patron of this prestigious event. This collaboration highlights the importance of integrating artistic and educational initiatives into Montpellier’s cultural life. As a leading educational institution in the fields of 3D animation, video games, illustration and concept art, graphic design and interior architecture, ESMA brings a creative and innovative dimension to this event.

A showcase for our talent

Visitors to ‘PANORAMA’ will have the opportunity to discover the creations of our students. Visuals of various projects from each of our courses will be displayed on a wall of panels, offering a glimpse of the talent and diversity of skills developed within the school. This exhibition is a superb opportunity for our students to present their work to a wide audience, in a prestigious and inspiring setting.

In addition, two special evenings will be devoted to screenings of short films made by our 3D animation students. These screenings, the dates of which will be announced shortly, will enable visitors to immerse themselves in the creative and technical world of our young talents. These films, the fruit of several months’ hard work, demonstrate the mastery and originality that characterise ESMA’s training.

Taking part in an event of this scale is particularly relevant for ESMA and for Montpellier. This commitment demonstrates our desire to contribute actively to the cultural life of our city and to promote the importance of art and creativity in urban and social development.
