On 17 May, ESMA Nantes will be welcoming Camille Lacroix, 3D animator at Fortiche Production, creators of the worldwide success Arcane.

We are pleased to invite you to a meeting on 17 May from 6 to 7pm with Camille Lacroix, Character Animator at Fortiche Production and more recently named the ‘French king of animation’ thanks to the recent worldwide success of his animated series Arcane.

Camille will talk about her background at ESMA, and the frenetic pace of the year spent creating her final film, with all the key steps, from pitching and script development, through storyboarding, animation, modelling and rigging, to the final adjustments before the final result.

From her beginnings as 3D Generalist on the Belgian film « Ploey » to the Arcane phenomenon as Character Animator, Camille Lacroix will take us on a journey through her career, which has been full of twists and turns.

Finally, Camille will give us an insight into her daily life at Fortiche Production, and explain the animation creation process, from storyboard analysis to the final touches of lighting and effects.
