[Spotted] Our alumni in the credits of Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets Of Dumbledore

The third part of the saga, Fantastic Beasts: the secrets of Dumbledore, takes the viewer once again into the world of Harry Potter. It is a way for them to discover more about the past of their characters and to dive back into crazy fantasy adventures.

This film, like all Harry Potter related films, is meant to be sensational and big budget. With such high expectations, there is no question of disappointing the audience. Released on 13 April 2022, the film is already topping the French box office, surpassing one million admissions – and approaching two million – in just one week. The means were put into this film since the production budget amounts to no less than 200 million dollars.

Framestore is one of the studios that contributed to the CG animation and FX on the film (we can also count The Third Floor, One of Us, Image Engine, Rodeo FX, Rise Visual Effects Studios…). Originally founded in London, the studio has since grown to include offices in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Vancouver, Montreal and Mumbai. Framestore specialises in visual effects but also offers services in real time animation, capture lab, virtual reality etc. and has worked on projects such as: Harry Potter, Gravity, Blade Runner 2049, Jingle Jangle…

Professor Albus Dumbledore knows that the powerful dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald is trying to take over the wizarding world. Unable to stop him from acting alone, he enlists the help of wizard Norbert Dragonneau to bring together wizards, witches and a Muggle baker in a daring team. On their most perilous mission, they face animals old and new, and Grindelwald’s growing following. But with the stakes so high, can Dumbledore stay in the shadows much longer?
