France's first 3D photo booth opens in Toulouse

Launched for the first time last November in Japan at the Eye of Gire trade fair in Tokyo, Omote 3D has unveiled a significant evolution of the good old photo booth. It offers
a 3D scanning and figurine printing service based on the data captured from the subject. The French company Digiteyezer very recently presented an equivalent solution, installed in the Fashion Village shopping centre in Toulouse. While use of this service, called EasyTwin
is still limited to personal use, it could well be of great service to special effects or video game production studios and even student projects, enabling them to create 3D avatars with ease.
