All you need to know about the RNCP qualification for ESMA's Plurimedia Graphic Design course

The RNCP title of the plurimedia Graphic Design course

ESMA’s Plurimedia Graphic Design Professional Cycle prepares students for careers in visual communication and graphic design. For 3 years, students are trained in the strategic and technical management of a communication campaign and in the creation of a visuel identity, thanks in particular to an advanced mastery of communication and digital tools.

On completion of the course, young professionals will have all the skills required to join a communications agency, a communications department in institutions or companies, an advertising agency, audiovisual studios or to work on their own as freelancers.

This course is recognised by the RNCP39117 « Designer Graphique Plurimédia »  level 6 qualification, registered on the Répertoire National des Certifications Professionnelles on 31/05/2024.

This RNCP-certified qualification enables its holder to prove the skills, aptitudes and knowledge required to carry out a profession or activity in a professional field.

Our Plurimedia Graphic Design course, Motion Design option or Digital Communication option, as a level 6 RNCP qualification, is equivalent to a Bac+3. This course is offered at ESMA’s Montpellier and Toulouse campuses.

A STATE-RECOGNISED BAC+3 QUALIFICATION

Obtaining the RNCP qualification is also a guarantee of quality. In fact, holding an RNCP title means that the training is recognised by the State because it corresponds to the expectations of the world of work and trains future professionals in line with it.

The training we offer at ESMA is particularly well adapted to the professional world, which facilitates the rapid integration of students into companies once they have obtained their diploma. This is a fast-growing sector, and our young graduates are all taken on within a maximum of 9 months after graduation.

WHAT IS AN RNCP QUALIFICATION?

RNCP is an acronym for : Répertoire National des Certifications Professionnelles. As defined on their own website, this directory “groups together the certifications that lead to a profession (attesting to all the skills needed to practise this profession). It includes diplomas and professional qualifications as well as certain CQPs (Certificat de Qualification Professionnelle)”.

This organisation centralises the list of professional diplomas and qualifications – as well as certain CQPs – for the information of anyone wishing to find out more about them. This directory is managed by France Compétences, which is itself dependent on the Ministry of Labour. France Compétences is a national public institution that contributes to monitoring and evaluating the quality of training courses and guarantees the relevance of professional qualifications.

In order to obtain an RNCP title, the school must compile a file – meeting a number of precise criteria – which will be studied by a specific committee that will either approve or reject the application. The scale of RNCP qualifications is made up of several degrees, depending on equivalence.
