Rookie Awards 2018

The Rookies received 9,971 projects from 2,914 students in more than 87 countries around the world.

More than 580 academic installations have encouraged their students to submit their work and will compete for the highly contested “School of the Year” title, while students will fight for the “Rookie of the Year” title, “Game of the Year”. “, and” Film of the Year “.

This year, students are also competing for internships and studio scholarships.

Rookie of the Year FINALISTS

Each finalist has been selected by the official jury. Several categories are represented:

Among the 20 finalists selected in the Feature Animation category, there are 5 students from ESMA:

Adrien Communier, Benjamin Francois, Lydia Joubert, Nicolas Grondin, Timothée Maron.

There are 3 categories for the finalists of “Film of the Year”:

3 ESMA short films are selected in the 3D Animation category. There are Seconde Chance, Or Bleu and Sailor’s Delight.
