In the Communication Culture course of the Isabelle Molina professor, the first year students brilliantly presented a number of emerging sociostyles.

What is a socio-style?

A sociostyle is a segment corresponding to a segmentation technique based on life styles.
Lifestyles are a method of segmenting consumers based on their grouping by similar lifestyles.
The analysis in terms of lifestyles appeared against the increasing limits of segmentation based on the CSP (socio-professional categories).

The different socio-styles include individuals with similar behaviors, living conditions and opinions. Sociostyles were created and popularized by the Center de Communication Avancé (CCA) in the 1970s.

Exercise instructions

Our future graphic designers, were interested in consumer behavior (food, clothing, culture …) to better understand the expectations of these groups and adapt their future creative proposals.

A lively afternoon where all the students played the game by dressing up and offering a rich oral presentation.

Conclusion

A good creative idea necessarily involves a qualitative approach of the public to which one speaks.
